The article is talking about a specific station whose trains are fully solar. That’s different than the claim from the original image saying 3200km of bullet trains are 100% renewable. Again, what Japan’s doing is great. My point is we don’t need to share things that overstate what they’ve done.

You’re misunderstanding. Only 20% of the energy needed to operate the trains is from solar. I’m not saying that’s bad. It’s great and will only get better as more solar comes on board. My point is we can report on good news without being misleading about it.

I’m all for solar energy and high speed rail but a few minutes of research showed this is BS. They’re pushing for around 20% renewable for the Shinkansen and Yamagata trains. We need to be better than just sharing stuff we want to be true.

Explain how the market is gullible enough to believe anything Trump says? He says negotiations are going great. Iran says they’re not even negotiating. The US makes a public proposal. Iran rejects it and makes their own proposal, the US rejects. The market goes up based on Trump’s optimism.

Just so we're clear, Trump threatened to commit a war crime by destroying all of Iran's energy infrastructure. He then released a statement (without evidence) saying that talks are going well and he would delay. The market responded as if there was a resolution in place. We're so gullible.
