No, you won't have to. But you could (try).

Based on reporting today, somebody did indeed make a whole lot of money. I wonder who?

Yeah . . . but look how much money Trump, his family, Cabinet and other insiders made. They're not worse off.

Canada has more stadiums that could be repurposed for the World Cup, and I'm pretty sure Mexico does as well. But it would take ticket sales for U.S. games cratering for FIFA to even consider moving games out of the U.S.

And what happened with the markets before and after? Did somebody make a whole of money?

I call BS on both. There are all kinds of public records about his political activity from the time he was in university, which never stopped.

Lawyers are officers of the court, and duty-bound to be absolutely forthright and honest with the court. That is not something subject to legislation; it is foundational to the rule of law.

Inflicting harsh punishments on offenders does nothing for victims, is more costly, and in the long run makes society less safe. Restorative justice, on the other hand, is less costly, overwhelmingly benefits victims, and reduces recidivism. So why do we keep doing the same thing?

I was in 1st year Law when this was released. 3 hour Final Exams worth 100% of the Final Mark. After writing each exam, I came home, put on the headphones and Ziggy, lit a joint, and collapsed on the couch. Got me through that 1st year.

As an observer in Canada, it looked to me like the issue was not her colour, but her gender. Remember Hilary?

The evidence certainly seems to indicate extortion, but there does also appear to be a credible body of evidence indicating that Trump's whole business empire would have totally collapsed decades ago without Russian financial support.

Can't pick just one. But I would like to present a few that are all pretty much (even though somewhat dated) applicable to current events. Apologies to those only interested in the music - I like to be able to see live performances, so YouTube

It's the American people that pay the tariffs, so it follows logically (and legally) that's who should be repaid. This will "destroy the country" how?

I always wonder whether the Republicans have political staff that constructs their messaging, or they just make it up themselves. Where does this stuff come from? When has Greenland ever needed protection, let alone anyone "spilling blood" protecting it?

Now imagine living in the northernmost metropolis in North America, Edmonton, Alberta. (Actually, as I write this, with wind chill it's 0 degrees F in Edmonton,)

His sentence, if you can even call it that, is little more than a word salad, bereft of meaning.

I'm old enough to have seen the US elect Nixon, Reagan, Bush Elder & Junior, and Trump. Is it any wonder many in other countries have come to the conclusion that the US cannot be trusted? If a leader who can be trusted is elected, it's only a matter of time before the next disaster.

The average price for regular gas in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada right now is $1.189/litre. That's $5.42/gal. For most of the last year, it's been over $6.00/gal. The Esso refinery located in Edmonton is the largest in Canada, and the price in Alberta is usually the lowest in Canada.

The brave American warriors are putting their lives on the line every day - by blowing up fishing boats with missiles from long range? It's stunning how every day someone from the Trump administration will say something that is completely divorced from reality. What next?

One doesn't have to be a legal scholar (let alone a great one) to know that reiterating what the law says is not a crime. Unless there is a criminal law that states that it is a crime. Such a law would mean all other laws are secret. "You've committed a crime, but I can't tell you what it is."

Read it. If it was drafted by the US, it was no more than taking dictation from Putin. If Ukraine was at all involved, the only thing they would have agreed to is the exchange of nationals.

I don't see how the odds favour finding evidence of intelligent extraterrestrial life. The universe is infinite. An alien civilization capable of exceeding the speed of light would likely be billions of light-years away from us. There's a vast amount of universe between us and them to be explored.

Canada eliminated pennies from its currency in 2012. Vendors round up or down to the nearest 5 cents when making change.
