That’s a great start for Ireland.

Eve Higgins’s try (Ireland’s fifth) was hugely important; made what could’ve been a 28-21 scoreline into 35-14.

Perhaps a bit too much kicking at times considering Japan’s numbers but overall, a fantastic start.

Really looking forward to Ireland vs Japan.

Really not looking forward to having to watch it on my phone on a bus.

So close to perfect.

Credit to the Dragons for sticking to their guns but they’re expecting a lot from the WRU.

Three games he was never playing in, realistically.

But that’s the way it’s been for a while; not his fault whatsoever!

My Player of the Series would be either Tom Curry or Tadhg Beirne.

Can see Finn Russell getting it, maybe.

But for two guys who were written off before the first Test by so many, they were instrumental.

Blocked a guy here who had replied “friends and family XV” NINE TIMES in the last hour.

I mean, are you honestly that stuck for something to do?

Wonder how the Series would have gone if Australia played like Test 2 and 3 in Test 1.

Sure, maybe an element of “the Series is won” from the Lions.

But it’s certainly been a very different ending than the start.

I’ve gone from 3-0 this morning to not being able to see the Lions score a try so what do I know.

I’d say the Lions will be delighted that Skelton gets a 30-minute rest just after halftime.

This game is bananas.

Between the physicality, the weather suspension, the niggle, the playing of Sweet Caroline while a player is knocked out (not on, by the by)…

If Jones stays on the wing, and I’m Australia, I’m kicking to him at every opportunity.

Australia well worth the lead.

Physical, bullying, hunting turnovers, and being really aggressive in everything they do.

A lot to be said for a game plan consisting of the above in rain like that.

Did really well to nil the Lions but I don’t think eight points will be enough.

There is so, so much niggle in this game and I am here for it.
