There are many examples of great songs by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. You might think that the drums, the bass, the guitar and rhythmic vocals in this song deliver the usual funk, but let us appreciate the added jazziness through the trumpets, played by Flea.

Anyway, I am sorry, I am not here to hate on your enjoyment. It's great people enjoy new things. Times change, and so do some people's perception. I guess I just need to move on from the series and find some other games that do things more like I felt the originals did, like Simulacrum.

Personally, I was able to get the story halfway through because of all the exposition. Although it's convoluted with many topics it touches on but doesn't quite follow through with or connect.

The only thing I couldn't predict were the boss fights and endings because they seemed ludicrous to me.

I agree about the example of f's symbolism. Sadly they did nothing clever with it. Again, can't elaborate in one post.

I thought combat never to be the focus of Silent Hill. Harry, James and Heather are not trained fighters, they are unexperienced and scared people, thus the awkward combat. Hinako is different especially with those powers. It's a fun game, but Silent Hill was imo about the mystery, not the obvious.

I guess I personally felt it less immersive and scary (which I expect a horror game to be) with the repetition and gamification of things. For example, putting my arm through a hole is yuck the first time, but meh the 3rd, 4th and 5th time. Also, some of the very crucial symbolism has been removed.

I wish I would share your enthusiasm. There are aspects to appreciate, but also so much to criticise. I personally hope this isn't the continuous direction of the series and it will find its way to its spiritual roots.

It seems like you further want to justify the killing of civilians. But no, IDF's own numbers indicate that 83% of the death toll are civilians.

Also, if it was broadcast, I am sure we would have seen it all over Fox News by now.

Not many others in my list, but obviously I got Queen on it. I could post some of the usual favourites, but Radio Ga Ga is in my opinion a bit underrated. It's actually one that has inspired various modern artists; their names, songs, or identity.

I am not justifying rape and assassination, and while some of them definitely committed these abhorrent crimes for sure, there is no evidence that that was their strategy. But you are justifying the killing of a lot of civilians; 83% of the victims were people who had nothing to do with with that.

I'm trying to figure out what your point is. Is it that because some assholes rape and kill people, the entire infrastructure deserves to be destroyed and innocent civilians to be killed? Because damn, we'd have to nuke the entire earth.

Also, curious to know how the above will stop anything...

Loving it. It's not necessarily a "new sound" to me, but more a "best of" sound. I could assign each song to one of their previous albums.

I wondered if, aside from Rammstein, there are other German music acts who are popular in English speaking countries. There is a lot of good music from Germany. Peter Fox for example, who had a great first solo album with personal stories and social commentary.

They are good tracks, but none of them I would be able to say "Oh that is that song!" Hence I had to go through all of their videos to remember 🙈. Except Here It Goes Again, I remember that because the intro reminds me of a Gorillaz Song.

I struggled finding a song to share by this band because, frankly, their tracks aren't the catchiest. As I watch their fascinating videos on repeat however, the songs get stuck in my head. This one's probably the most impressive, though they all are incredible.

Having worked in an Italian restaurant, I was exposed to a lot of music from Italian artists like Pausini, Bocelli, Zucchero, etc. The 2021 Eurovision winners Måneskin made me revisit some of those classics. Nek's one of them.

I always enjoy tracks that are extraordinary in some ways. With Mattafix, it was the mix of rap and singing, with special melodies (i.e. infused with sounds from other cultures) and social topics, that struck me.

I am sad that yet more life was needlessly ended. I condemn the failed politics of Biden, Trump and many world leaders, as well as the divisive rhetoric of media. All of them led to an increase in islamophobia and anti-Judaism, and a bigger divide between people all over the world. And for what?

It doesn't matter that they didn't win.
I recommend watching this.
The only way is put pressure for them to not let them participate next year, or if they won't take action, to (threaten with a) boycott.
