I fell off the wagon about posting here, other than the GFS notifications. My big news is that we're finally moving to New Orleans at the end of the year. We'll be living in the French Quarter. There's lots of work to be done for the move, but I'm excited about it!

Fitting for today’s cat fight.

Mom hasn't been eating right. Cooking for 1 sucks. Trying to do it while easily fatigued & using a walker means she's mostly been reaching for sweets.

While visiting, I've been cooking & freezing meals to be microwaved. She requested a tuna pot pie. We ate half for supper.

My New Orleans poetry project is developing nicely. 5 streets done in at least 1st draft.

I am so grateful whenever someone shares It's Storytime with new listeners. I thought the hard part was making the episodes, but that was trivially easy, compared to how much work and effort it takes to ensure people who will love the podcast find out it exists. Thank you, We Have Issues :)

In New Orleans, we just had a truly excellent meal at Cafe Amelie! It included a gf bread that's a lovely cross between a croissant and French bread.
