Part 3 of the mini series i got to play in is live!
What if we participated in some collective escapist fantasy in the form of sitting around a table and sharing the process of storytelling as a group for the next few months or longer provided the whole thing doesn’t fall apart due to scheduling conflicts?

In the dark depths of the undercity, our party cannot trust what they see.

Hey! I'm in this!!!
That secret DM technique where you lower your NPC's IQ because you're party really likes the really dumb plan they came up with. (and so do you but you'll never admit it)
I feel the desire to start a new large scale project. The only issue is, I don’t know what that project is.
I have a few ideas I put on the self a while back. Maybe it’s time to dust them off. Might be reaching out to some creators for a few of them.
I am unashamed to admit that multiple songs from "Kpop demon hunters" have made it to the gym playlist.
I am about to become a kpop girlie. I can feel it.
I want to learn to run Vampire: the masquerade exclusively to run a “what we do in the shadows” game.
I’m tired of cool, emotional vampires. Let’s have fun with more eternal idiots and their antics.
Flexing my arms and actually seeing muscles moving is the single greatest motivator to keep going to the gym.
Long way to go, but we’re going.
The pain of having to hold off on an announcement to avoid announcing it on April 1st.
Guess it’ll wait till next week.
To anyone who’s ever created a community discord server, what are some tips for setting it up that I should know?
Looking at setting one up myself and want to avoid as many issues as I can.
Had an idea for a stream where any viewers who are DMing a campaign can send me their players character sheets. Then we live build a combat encounter for their campaign with their players in mind.
Is that something that sounds entertaining/useful?
I’m feeling that weird itch to stream again.
I need to find a way to do it consistently without my ideas becoming too convoluted to manage at the start. Small ideas and build up regularity. Then I can do the crazy stuff once I get going. Now I need small ideas…
I’m not saying I want to, but…
If I were to make a book of supplemental material to 5e, it would be setting agnostic. There are too many things out there that are “how to play in my world” and not enough “how to play in your world”. More tools, less finished products.
"never have I ever..." but as your D&D character
Go.
That weird urge to make a podcast or a video essay about some really no secure shit you know no one else will care about.
If I go down that road there’s no coming back.
I love the inherent comedy that erupts at every D&D table.
I have never seen anything bring a group of people to tears from laughter as much as D&D has. Its almost perfectly designed to foster inside jokes and ridiculous situations. If your table never laughs, thats a red flag.
It’s the parts you can’t practice. The week to week prep is the challenge and you can’t just start “fake preping” since it’s all pretty reliant on what the party is doing/planning
I need a way to run “practice dnd campaigns”.
Like a s a way to get better at running campaigns, without needing to commit to a full campaign. And no, one shots aren’t what I’m talking about.
It turns out that instead of ignoring something till the last minute, you can tackle alittle bit of it every day so that way you’re not overwhelmed and stressed out.
If only I learned this BEFORE I turned 32. It would have added years to my life.
Stretching is the flossing of fitness.
I do not need to elaborate.
Looking for a good app for tracking diet that dosent have a bunch of ads on it.
Dosent have to bee too in-depth. Just enough to help me stay on task.
He’s a solid 4. But he’s a forever DM who’s good at scheduling.
What the verdict?
R.E.P.O looks like a ton of fun.
Curse all these games that require a group of friends AND the ability to all have free time to play them. It seems like a content machine too.
It happened. I never thought it would but it did.
I’m excited to go to the gym tomorrow.
Let’s, indeed, go!
For anyone who has run/played in a west marches style campaign:
How did you handle players signing up for too many consecutive sessions where others didn’t get to play? Were there limits on how many sessions a player could attend in a row? Did your group ever have this issue?
My manager just (not so subtly) implied that our team should have an updated resume in the coming months.
In unrelated news, I will be starting up a patreon for my content in the next few weeks. Time to get “Shickadance Studios” up and running.
