I appreciate SciAm's measured approach. Comparisons of larger samples are always needed to accurately assess how unusual any given chain of events may be. Is it odd if 10 people from Demographic A participate in Activity B? One can only guess without a wider profile of people from Demographic A.

The author's a skeptic but he's not even looking for UFO stuff but instead is far more interested in digging up long-abandoned connections and dodgy CIA spook lore, and there is a lot. For example NICAP seems to have actually been -founded- by CIA assets in the first place.

All I'd need to know about Dolan and the vast majority of the UFO cult of personalities to form character assessments was their rationalizing and defense of the actions of David Jacobs.

I'm a Magic fan too (like Andy Kelly) and injuries are an ongoing part of the Magic story. Recurring problem from year-to-year. But mostly, I think, Orlando is dangerous when they have their heads in the game, & you'd be hard pressed to find a less effective basketball team when they don't.
