Last night's Satellite capture challenge was altered by Sur Monte The Fog. I planned for that with the second location I scouted, just in case. Second location was fogged in too. So the third location did not have a clear view of any formation So, I captured a satellite infested startrails stack

This evening you might have seen a weird trail across the sky above the Monterey Bay. It was the returning ISS supply capsule's plasma trail. I captured it in Seaside, CA at 10:35PM in 15 ten second images that make this video.

Scanned from an original metal sculpture by @paigetashner.bsky.social, this was 3d modeled, and printed with a resin 3D printer using glow-in-the-dark powder mixed with the UV resin. The final print is 4"x3"x2" inches in size.

I was told today by the fourth medical provider this month, that they have nothing I have not tried already for my complex PTSD. There are only 2 FDA approved drugs for the diagnosis, everything else is off label use. Time to re-explore alternative treatments again

Four years ago, right about now, I watched my dad pass away in a nursing home from Emphysema & COVID, via a remote camera link that I had setup and operated for a year. It was the year no one could go visit him & the passing of a lifelong friend will make this week a tough one to remember each year.

I have seen it only here around the central coast. Once in Big Sur for about 3 days and here, a few blocks from our house for 3-4 days until the storm mixed in cold upwellings snuffing the bloom... I can't wait to see it next!

Friday the FDA approved the first new pain medication that is NOT an opiate in 25 years... My plan is to try this new groundbreaking medication, even if I need to delay my surgery to do it.
