Somebody please throw the Trump regime, the Netanyahu regime, and the Putin regime in the deepest, darkest dungeons at The Hague.

First six days of the US war in Iran $12.7bn Cost the same as one year of ... Paying 9% of the US's elementary school teachers Paying 47% of the US's firefighters Medical care for 693,000 veterans 1.5m public housing units Medicaid for 3.6m children
I want $12.7B worth of healthcare, education, and safe streets. No more wars.

I guess I would suggest We the People propose that judges (particularly Supreme Court justices) stop being hostile to the Constitution and The People first and maybe restrain the 🍊🤡💩.
I have a simpler reason, @rbreich.bsky.social, I would need to drive an ice pick into my ear drums after listening to Fuckface Von Clownstick for more than 20 seconds, and I prefer to keep my hearing.
Are you rethinking the super efficient furnace in your house? Ready to have the coal dumped into your basement so you can shovel it into the boiler to heat your house?
I’m convinced by the marketing geniuses at USA Interior. How about you? Ready for all the particulates and toxins? Do these dumb fucks really think that all these gas fired utilities will ditch their multimillion dollar turbines and go back?
🚨 This should scare the 💩 out of everyone

@artcullen.bsky.social keeps saying the things rattling around in my head…
From the middle of beet-red Iowa, the best description of this nightmare.

Jamie Pollard and his multimedia wiz kids make Hilton a miserable, headache-inducing, literally hearing-damaging experience. Gin it up to ear-splitting levels at every opportunity. That’s not magic, it’s a sound assault.
Oh, and the hour-long post game parking lot gridlock sucks, too.

There are expressions, “whistling past the graveyard,” and another, “welfare queen,” that seem to fit this situation.
We already have socialism in the way that healthcare is paid for, but it is the most ridiculous and least effective way of delivering healthcare. If politicians and everyone else would just get over petty political labels, the least expensive insurance option is the biggest pool of people.
Bird got swept in with the rest of the MAGA cult, but I wonder what her real name recognition is among the vast majority of people who pay zero attention to news or government. Any idea, @laurarbelin.bsky.social? Who wins if both are basically unknown? Does incumbency and the cult push her over?
the healthcare that you may need. Americans should take the scales off their eyes and stop trying to find reasons for not moving to a Medicare-for-all model, but alas, the entrenched monied interests will never allow the simplest solutions to prevail.
in the event some peril occurs. The true craziness is that anyone thinks they need to preserve the current system where your economic caste determines whether you are able to pool with enough people to get sufficient coverage to not have to go into your own reserves (or just go bankrupt) to obtain
without the additional cost of dividends to shareholders. Lastly, as far as the whole capitalism-socialism debate goes, could we just please admit that insurance is a form of socializing the overall cost of ANY hazard. We are literally all contributing to the pot of money from which we hope to draw
is that American sacred cow: capitalism. While I believe in capitalism, IMHO the profit motive in healthcare is a huge factor killing Americans’ ability to get cost effective healthcare services and pharmaceuticals. At least, I wonder what would happen if there were fair and reasonable compensation
policies, rules, regulators, and profit motives. People always have complained and always will complain about how expensive things are, and medicine is no different. IMHO, the cost of healthcare is driven by too many factors to be overly sure about blaming any particular one, but the biggest one
Hands down, it has been the best treatment one could hope for. The cost paid by insurance has been kind of crazy. Everyone send to agree that everything is too expensive and complicated. The complicated criticism it seems to me is driven entirely by prolix insurance companies and their Byzantine
BTW, everyone says “healthcare is broken,“ but rarely does anyone say how or why. I have interacted with the healthcare system A LOT this past year with great insurance coverage and the BEST treatment. I count myself fortunate. The healthcare professionals and pharmaceuticals have been world class.
Nunn is desperate to save good political bacon. Whether he votes for an extension or not ( I’m betting “not”), he floats the idea that he might be interested in a bipartisan compromise to be able to fling turds across the aisle later and accuse Dems of being “extreme” @edtibbetts.bsky.social
My new (ok, maybe only 🫣) favorite part of the Bible.
Are we great yet?
It cannot be repeated enough to Rural America: 🍊🤡💩 killed you with tariffs, paid Argentina $20B which took your market and left you bankrupt, but you don’t have to worry about paying your undocumented workers because there won’t be any nor crops to sell. And you are safe to disparage trans people.
Or look to the Mango 🥭 Mussolini you helped put in office… perhaps the least Christian, most self-serving person ever to hold the office of President. Jackass.
