Aw, thank you! ☺️
Ooooh, cake is a great idea! I could treat myself to a brownie tonight. My husband is out, so we’ll “officially” celebrate tomorrow, but I can certainly have some of that by myself! 😋
Thank you! 😊
Very true! Especially when it comes to running. It can’t be helped (we gotta pay if we ignore our bodies), but that doesn’t make it any easier.
Thank you, Betty!
Sounds great!
Thank you! Last year, March was awful at work, so this feels like a nice reward. ☺️
Thanks! ☺️
Thank you!
Thank you! I’m sure it will. ☺️ I certainly like my new job description.
Thank you, Penny! This is my first ever merit-based (rather than academic degree based) promotion, so it feels extra special. ☺️
Thank you! My manager is a gem. ☺️
In other good news: I just got promoted at work and a nice raise to go with the new title! 🎉
As a career changer and woman in tech, this means a lot to me. ☺️
Not sure how I feel about being called a “Senior”, though. 🤭
March went really well with regard to #running 🎉:
I did 18 out of 18 planned runs! (13 more than last year, 8 more than in February.)
I ran 10k for the first time ever.
Total distance this month: 83 km / 52 mi, which is more than ever before. 🏃♀️
That foot is as good as new 🤷♀️😆
britches 🤭 It’s so nice to have you back, Gigi!
Thank you, Gigi!
Yeah nope. My right foot is still mad about that 10k the other day. 😆
My mom didn’t believe me when I said that I might need glasses until I asked her if she could see the leaves on the trees. 😆
Wouldn’t mind it if I could run that far 😆
Well done taking good care of it! 👏
That was during a PE lesson and the teacher didn’t believe me that I had really hurt myself, but at least I didn’t have to go see a doctor. 🤷♀️
I seem to have zero patience for dislocated joints 😆
That one time I fully dislocated my shoulder (which hurt pretty badly), I instinctively put it back into its place with my other arm and a jerk of the shoulder (which hurt even more). 😬
I couldn’t bear to see it dangle at this odd angle. 😅
Very likely you are happier than them if they don’t have anything better to do! ☺️
Fortunately, it’s not nearly as painful as a fully dislocated joint (had that only once), but it’s really annoying, like an itch. 😆
Phew, a slightly dislocated joint in my foot sorted itself out. It was getting annoying enough that I contemplated taking it to the GP.
As a kid I’d simply kick the wall until the joint snapped back into place, but I’m too old for that now.
I’m glad I don’t have to explain all this to the GP. 😆
Congrats, Anna! 🎉
Well done! 👏👏👏
That would be lovely! 💛
