The history of the region shows that a Palestinian state will only continue the conflict but in a new way. At this conflict’s core is Arab hatred of Jews. Always did, and always will.
Hamas won.
You'd think "cheats at golf" would get a certain reaction among his class.
I have to restate how insane this "deal" is from the US perspective, it's 5% more from the baseline, and it makes importing European cars cheaper than producing American cars
It’s interesting to see European countries move to recognise Palestinian statehood, but no move by the Palestinians or Arabs to recognise Israeli statehood.
Two state solution you say?
🤨
Why would Hamas agree to a ceasefire now?
They’re winning.
According to Times, the Kremlin is forcing Ukrainian children abducted from occupied territories to join the Russian army once they turn 18. This tactic, ordered by Putin, marks a new level of psychological warfare against Ukraine. An estimated 35,000 children were taken—many now face conscription.
Donald Trump’s White House is melting down over Wednesday night’s South Park premiere, which just so happened to attack the president’s “teeny tiny” manhood.
I think that rather proves my point.
Not riots, but weekly marches are now common. My point however is that it’s in everyday encounters that it’s more apparent.
The conflicts over the asylum seekers/immigration is also something that’s new and growing.
Antisemitism, Jew-hatred, has become much more normalised in Britain, not just since Hamas attacked Israel, on 7 October, but over the last 10 or so years. It was, in my experience socially unacceptable in the past, but that’s changed. Class also appears be re-entering the public discourse.
The idea that Britain is well integrated was true, but is increasingly no longer true. Sectarian, religious divides are increasingly obvious. The left find that uncomfortable, but it’s true, and needs to be recognised to be addressed. I expect it won’t be.
Never forget that not once did the “Free Palestine” crowd demand that Hamas release the 50 hostages, even though that’s the fastest way to end the war.
Because this movement never wanted peace. Their goal is for Israel to disappear.
“For me—a person who has been trusting the U.S. all these years since then—it’s very hard to experience that it doesn’t mean anything anymore that we had fought alongside the U.S. in Afghanistan, in Iraq and many other places, that suddenly we are nothing.” Tragic squandering of US power.
Standing perfectly still so I don't accidentally spend money
‘Civil defence agency’?!!!
It’s Hamas, a proscribed terror organisation, FFS.
