I use a prescription retinol at night so I don’t usually do too much else with the tatcha, but I’ve sometimes use a niacinimide serum which is a good pairing for me and works well (supposedly) with the ceramides in the tatcha!

Ok yes then tatcha is the thing
realizing these are both in a significantly different category than most of the drugstore posts, but I mostly put my skincare money into rx retinol+night cream rather than a bunch of different things…
The best night cream in my book is the tatcha indigo overnight repair, but it’s EXPENSIVE and easy to use maybe more than you need. But I also like the biossance overnight rescue! (Those both sound intense but are not as intense as they could be; tatcha is a little lighter.)
Breaking my silence: I don’t think Jonathan Bailey is hot as fiyero. He should be! But he’s not.
Not me posting again

There’s something oddly comforting about sitting in the stupid glass cage that is the Starbucks and watching the lanternflies fling themselves at the windows in vain
I’m listening…

Is there really nothing to do about spotted lanternflies except kill them one at a time

First cross-post for a new poem 😌in the new issue of The Drift, now online:
“…We lay in the field, green ghosts
in different times
expensive to keep alive.
When your friend spoke a hummingbird appeared,
and I was so embarrassed by it
because I was so sad…”

The cover of who’s afraid of gender? By Judith Butler
The Aim of who’s afraid of gender is not to offer a new theory of gender but to examine have gender has become a phantasm for emerging authoritarian regimes, fascist formulations, and trans exclusionary five minutes. Is there a vital, courageous new book, Butler illuminates the concrete ways that this phantasm of gender collects and displaces anxieties and fears of destruction. Operating in tandem with deceptive accounts of critical race theory and xenophobic panicked about migration, the anti-gender movement demonizes struggles for a quality, fuels aggressive nationalism, and leaves millions of people vulnerable to subjugation.
New Judith Butler book to preorder just dropped.
