She has to cover her mouth to stifle a sudden laugh. Her eyes glimmer up at him, clearly amused.

"You're very good at that." She pauses a half-beat, then continues. "Making me feel less nervous."

She stretches up and kisses his cheek, then smiles.

"I'll see you tonight, then."

She laughs. "Maybe a little. I've never been brought home to meet somebody's father before! Even if... I know him already, and technically *I'm* bringing *you* home to your own house, and..."

She shakes her head, feeling silly.

"You can come tonight, right?"

She looks at him hopefully.

She smiles as he kisses her cheek, which warms at his touch. "You know. That we're..." She pauses a moment, realizing that they've never said exactly *what* they are. But she's confident enough in him to press on anyway. "Together."

She covers his hand that's holding her cheek with her own.

As fortune would have it, she is taking afternoon tea in the Firmament and has an Ishgardian cream puff stuffed into her mouth as she reads the letter. She nearly spits it out.

She sends her reply back quickly.

"I have some, but I'd gladly take more. Would you like some between yours as well?"

She looks him over fondly and taps a finger to her lips in consideration. "Well, that depends... are you free this evening? I-- well, your father asked me to bring you home for dinner, and... I think he knows."

She says the last part quietly, slightly shuffling the items in her arms.

She grimaces, looking slightly ill.

"Can most likely fill a room, too. I'm certain the ancient Ishgardians accounted for this when building their cities..."

Nan and Haurchefant sit cuddled together in one of the heated pools at Snowsoak Springs. Nan is blushing and smiling while Haurchefant kisses his shoulder.

She stifles back a laugh.

"...Well, if they can eat, I assume they probably do..."

// Stella loves Thavnarian chai, so much in fact that she's tried hundreds of tea shops in Radz-at-Han and found the one she likes the most. Her brother in Radz mails shipments to her regularly.

Of course, she loves other kinds of teas too and is always excited to try new kinds.

"I... yes," she mumbles, hurriedly gathering her fallen papers and tome back into her arms.

She's quiet, not quite looking at him. It's obvious she's unsettled from what she's just overheard.

"She's right, you know. You shouldn't joke about that..."

Her presence in the room is made known when she drops a tome onto the floor. It thumps loudly against the stone. She stares at him with wide, worried eyes for a moment before noticing the book.

"Ah..."

She scrambles to her knees to pick it up and gather some notes that fell from its pages.

Looks at her tomephone. Blushes and puts it down. Lifts it back up and looks again. Lets out a little yelp and presses 'save'.

"By the gods. What if someone else sees this? I'll be right over to help you delete it before they do!"

"Well that won't do, now will it," she says with a soft smile, stroking his cheek. Then she kisses him, sweet and chaste but lingering.

"Feeling any better now?"

"Really? Well, in that case..."

She pulls him in gently by the collar and stops mere ilms from pressing her lips to his.

"I certainly hope you weren't kissing the entire star. I know I'm a bit late..."

She eyes him suspiciously.

"Eorzean Kissing Day?" she asks, announcing her presence by putting both hands on his desk, leaning over with a teasing smile. "I'd love to help, but I'm afraid I'm not Eorzean..."

// Stella puts on a pot of tea, does some maintenance on her rapier, finds a comfortable chair to curl up in and a good book to read.

Or, if she's feeling extra adventurous - she goes out in the rain anyway!

Rainy days are great days for staying in and getting distracted by a loved one, though.
