Hi Sam! Deadline likely passed, but we had slug invasions on our ground-floor balcony. My wife hates slugs and used Slug & Snail Killer (blue granules) - magically, slugs won’t cross it :)) Super effective but toxic to pets. Can share more, just limited to 300 characters here :)

Great take on disclosure. The food labeling analogy really hits the mark.

"When I am using AI, I feel it’s good to let the recipients of my work know the extent and the reason why I used it. With disclosure comes choice. It is like food labelling. Customers have the right to know what they are consuming and they can then make informed choices that work best for them."

That was a really deep point of @darrylsparey.bsky.social that with the rise of LLMs, editorial content has a much longer life.
In the past it had an impact in the media, then through Google search, and now there's a third layer: LLMs, which learn from editorial texts. 🔥

NYT's @benmullin.bsky.social interviewed Every media start-up founder Dan Shipper about his belief that deeper use of AI in writing won’t kill authors, but will make them stronger.

It seems AI will surpass humans in empathy, patience, and creativity. Maybe the only thing that saves us is becoming a “unique commodity”. Human work will be more valued as a rarity with limited capacity, even if it lacks “factory-level quality”
