Eating scrambled eggs on the subway should be a crime.

I keep seeing "all authors use AI, the real issue is they're being forced to be sneaky about it" headlines.
Full stop No. This is a lie peddled for normalization. It's schoolyard-level pressure tactics "C'mon, all the cool kids are already doing it. We won't tell. It's fine. We're on your side."
They injected Robert Pattinson with Paul Bettany. #dune3
EXCLUSIVE: At more than 30 installations, U.S. commanders told troops the war on Iran is a Christian war.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation has been “inundated” with more than 110 complaints.
One NCO said they were told the U.S. war is to bring about Armageddon and the return of Jesus…

Trump’s crackdown is just a more extreme version of what every other administration has always done. If you actually want to stop illegal immigration, then put the CEO of Tyson Foods in prison for one month per undocumented immigrant found working in their factories. Anything else is just theater.
When you have a strength, a talent, it’s important to use it.
Someone on the subway has “Jingle Bells” as their ringtone.
Huzzah for @apamaate.bsky.social’s PACHEO from @andrewsmcmeelkids.bsky.social !!
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.
Hegseth is a cold-blooded murderer. There's no way to dress it up. He's a criminal. And his was precisely the kind of illegal order that those Dem members of Congress urged the military not to follow. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
Fascinating read on how a suspicious pitch highlighted a growing problem in freelance journalism: A flood of generative AI that even prestige publications don't catch, complete with fabricated quotes, from scammers who see opportunity in a field so many real humans are struggling to survive in.
Thank you for the hook up!
Yaaaayyy!!!!

Martin Sheen and Hal
My son rushed down after school to get a chance to meet Martin Sheen, whom he idolizes after completing the full run of The West Wing. It was a big thrill to meet him and talk politics.
Then we showed him a photo of our son dressed up as a cowboy while in Montana and Sheen asked if he was an actor and said he looked like he was performing in “OOOOOKLAHOMA!” Hearing him sing was a cherry on top.
