That's so real, scaling took me a second to get used to. I didn't realize how it worked until I actually started to play my own game 😂. That's why it's always good to check before making so much progress. Looks good!

I finally finished my first draft of my single-scene game, Office Space! Not to spoil too much, but I wanted a to make a game that captured the feeling of being trapped within a working environment. Also, so many materials and assets were used! #SmallGameStudio
Working on my current project and the desk is coming together well! It was fun designing a desk for the office scene that I am creating. Sizing everything to be relatively proportional proved to be more of a challenge than expected, but I was able to do it. #SmallGameStudio

Behold, my incredibly simple house in Unity! While it's incredibly simple, I'm still proud of it because it's just the beginning of my project. I enjoy the process of putting everything together, no matter how slow at first. Can't wait to see the finished product! #SmallGameStudio
she danced in the wind like an holographic dream before the world died can be described as poetry in motion. I really liked the art style, but what was really captivating was the poems about flowers representing hope and life. I hope to dig deeper in the future! #SmallGameStudioArcade1
The Museum of Lockpicking was fun to play. It was a collection of lockpicking mechanics from different games. Exploring how different developers create ways to solve locks was really interesting. #SmallGameStudio1
Muse Garden was an interesting game to walk through. It was set in what seemed to be an ancient yard featuring lots of ruins. It was fun to jump on the different ruins, but I don’t think it was made for that because there wasn’t a path or course. #SmallGameStudioArcade1
I also enjoyed The Beginner's Guide! I totally agree with your opinion on its storytelling. I think the narration mixed with the features of the game itself tell an interesting story about insecurity and self-reflection.

I finally figured out how to make a game object have texture/color on both sides in Unity! While it was a simple fix, it took some outside help for me to figure it out😅. Now I feel ready to create more in creative and in-depth scenes within Unity!

Without the narration, the feeling of the game changes. This makes sense because both games were created by the same developer: Davey Wrenden. Both games have to do with worlds where there is deeper meaning and not everything is as it seems. Both deal with feeling trapped. #SmallGameStudio
This week we finished a playthrough of The Beginner Guide in class. I found the narrative aspect of the game very interesting. The narration reminded me of The Stanley Parable, where the narration makes up the entire story aspect of the game. #SmallGameStudio
