not every YTPMV is like this and there's a lot to go over that can't be explained in just a few simple replies.

for programs I personally recommend vegas but friends of mine have had luck with reaper if that's more your thing

in practice it's simple but it's complicated to explain

in shortest terms basically taking any source that can be tuned to music, tuning and syncing it to whatever song, and should you want to get fancy with it (I usually don't) do visuals.
