I need to talk about the short scenes for Heated Rivalry on Rachel Reid’s website. Because Ilya dressing up as Shane for Halloween and drawing on freckles is actually everything.

i wanted a golden goal walk-off banger AND I GOT ONE
I finished Luv (un)Arranged by N. M. Patel and it was perfect. Slow burn up to 50% as the couple got to know each other in such a cute way. Then hella steamy. So sweet and delightful and yet made me cry. Highly recommend!
My Spotify randomly played Going Under by Evanescence and I had such a flashback to my angsty years. I was obsessed with the Tristan and Isolde movie and used to watch clips on YouTube with random songs behind it. My favorite one was Going Under.
I started All Superheroes Need PR by Elizabeth Stephens last night and it’s totally breaking me out of the book slump I’ve been in.
Someone explain to me why the heroine is in a Regency dress when the book is set in medieval Scotland?
So many phenomenal books and of course I grabbed a dinosaur book when we went to the Natural History Museum!
I didn’t go to ApollyCon but I did drive from New Jersey to DC to attend the @authornalinisingh and @nicwillwrites event at @eastcitybookshop! We had a fantastic time and loved being able to meet Nalini and Denise in person.
Second night of staying up way too late reading sad historical romances. This one was One Season with the Duke by Addy Du Lac.
I stayed up wayyy too late last night reading Her Night with the Duke.
Thought I had rereading the Psy-Changeling series: Bonds of Justice has so many Sascha/Lucas scenes that reading it feels similar to reading Tangle of Need for the Hawke/Sienna scenes.

The story of a misfit writer and a cash-strapped printer who team up to publish a penny dreadful, TFP is a love letter to partnership, ingenuity, and forearms. Enjoy!🥰

My bookclub hooked me up with some awesome stickers.
I ended the month with a next generation Juliette Cross and an ever witty India Holton!
I also read Shadow’s Heart, which was the perfect adventurous Kresley Cole. I devoured both Deep End and Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood. Not in Love is, in fact, my current favorite one of her books and now I’m ready for her upcoming Problematic Summer Romance.
My March Wrap Up. Clearly, I went down a Nalini Singh rabbit hole after reading an ARC of Atonement Sky. I needed the comfort of her books. I’ve finally broken out of my binge and now she’s just my audio reads ( I’m up to Blaze of Memory.)
So proud to be from New Jersey today. (I’m proud to from New Jersey every day.)

My personal trainer. We both did 10 minute workouts today. Mine was HIT, his was chasing the light beam reflecting off my watch around the apartment.
This is the daily book deals graphic, with all 5 of today's covers.

Finally broke my two week Nalini Singh binge (I’m continuing it on audio with Hostage to Pleasure) with a trashy book that I can’t recommend lol. It was a reread so I knew it was going to be terrible and addicting.
I’m currently unable to read anything but Nalini Singh psy-changeling books. Both on audio and with my eyes. It’s been two weeks. It’s probably a sign of internalizing the stress of watching my country fall apart.
I didn’t get to do my senior skip day cause I was the only student taking the AP Euro exam that day.
She writes them so well that both are on my comfort list of books to reread when life is rough. This might be my 4th or 5th reread of Kiss of Snow and I love it more each time.
Why is Nalini Singh so skilled at writing things that make me side-eye in real life i.e. age-gap ( Kiss of Snow) or boss/employee ( Rock Hard)? I mean, I do love these tropes in romance but she’s just the best of making me forgot those can be problematic in real life.
It’s now tied with Silver Silence as my favorite Trinity book. It made me cry so much.
I started an ARC of Atonement Sky last night and this book might break me
I also read some standout romances: Never Gamble Your Heart, Whirlwind, and Nevermore Bookstore.
Time for my February wrap up. I read a bunch this month including two nonfiction books. One was on The Crusades and one on the Normans. I did a binge of The Housemaid series. Those books are addicting. My rereads this month were two Kimberly Lemming books, two Tay Monae, and The Nanny.
