We've featured daffodils at several East Suffolk Lines stations, but what about tulips?

Aren't these flower tubs at Melton station absolutely stunning? It's the work of obviously green-fingered Community Rail Officer Thalia.

Halesworth & District Museum, at the station building, reopened Saturday after a winter refurbishment project. There are new exhibits, new doors/windows/signage. The work was done by volunteers. Much of it was made possible by a £10k award from Greater Anglia's Customer & Community Improvement Fund.

This time last year the folks from Edible Felixstowe built some brilliant planters for the rail station for an edible garden; it's produced lovely veg ever since! This year is no exception. Help yourself to thyme/lettuce/swiss chard/parsley/chives/garlic.

It also features the new UK railway clock, appearing at a GA station for the first time.

The screen was installed through a partnership with Greater Anglia and Blackbox Company. It was funded by Suffolk County Council.

There's a new information screen at Ipswich station. The 4.8 metre screen displays real-time train info, onward bus connections and updates during disruption. It uses high-res LED technology so it's easy to read from across the concourse.

This week & next we're working w/Project Education Felixstowe showing kids all about rail travel. For some it was their 1st time on a train. They learnt about safety/screens/tickets/doors/the conductor. @ Westerfield they had time @ The Railway Inn to play crazy golf; it was then back to Felixstowe!

Trimley is looking terrific thanks to Tom! He's the long-time station adopter volunteer (more than 10 years!) who has made the station garden what it is today! There's no water source so Tom fills up and takes water to the station; now that's dedication!

A lovely bunch of folks took part in our free station walk this past Friday! 46 humans/2 dogs made the trek from #Lowestoft to Oulton Broad South; many continued to Carlton Marshes café. It's one of the most interesting walks we do, the landscape changes every few minutes.
