Watching these youngsters grow up in the MLB is exciting I think, & I’m big fan of what Oli & Bloom are building, just unfortunate it’ll take some time to be competitive again.

I agree wholeheartedly, it’s sad to see for sure, I didn’t blame them for not showing up last season at all & I’m glad the front office got the memo, don’t think it’s as justified this year though. I live in Kentucky, we usually make a weekend trip at some point to catch a game or two.

Tbh, I’m enjoying this team quite a bit! But that’s probably because they play a lot more like I had to play (not much pop lol). To me it’s more fun to watch the chess pieces move around the board than to watch a lot of swing and miss waiting around for a 3-run bomb. & they’re young which adds to it

That’s is all true yet it’s still early in the year, but yeah I see what you’re saying with the lack of hits in general. Hard to do much running when nobody is on base in the first place.

I’m on the let him walk train, his too one dimensional for me to put a lot of faith behind. But I understand why ppl wanted to keep him around. Just hope we can replace his shooting ability with someone that can also dribble, rebound & guard others.

I’m not sold on Chandler being a major component for UK. With all the things he does well, i.e. shooting, his defense & ball handling skills are atrocious. He can’t dribble with his left hand, with his right hand it’s easy to time his dribble for knock away steals. But we need shooters so he stays 🤷🏻‍♂️

He’s barely 23 yrs old, and only has 500 at bats in St. Louis and you’re ready to push him out the door?!? If this article was about Gorman I’d agree with you but not Walker, between ‘24 & ‘25 his played one full season combined.

IMO he’s too light in the pants and gets beaten up on screens, and taken to the bucket way too easily. Gonna have to put in work in the weight room & he’ll be fine come next season once he puts on weight & won’t get bullied around near as much.
