I just learned that this week!
I love working with alpaca yarns. They are sustainable, considered hypoallergenic for most, and so so soft. One of my top 5 personal favorite fibers.
Only problem is that dyeing them makes the whole studio (and house) smell like a petting zoo.
Anyway, met these babes yesterday. Dyeing now…

Knitting update: it’s cold and rainy here and I’m working on a throw that’s gonna have a whole run of different colors from fingering-weight mini skeins but we’re starting out with @hellagoodyarn.bsky.social’s Wicked-inspired minis and it all looks & feels fantastic so far
