egg month is the only event that has a whiff of that good old full odds elitism that was prominent in the past (to my knowledge, around gen 6).
but even that's reasonable, its not just bc masuda bad but bc they want to celebrate FO eggs in gens where nobody hunts eggs for fun, especially gen 3

the rogue megas SHOULD'VE caused more problems for people in lumiose, making the threat of hyperspace more severe.
people getting slashed by absol-z through the portal, staraptor causing hurricanes, heatran causing a heat wave, meowstic making people to bump into walls etc.
some of the sidequests in lumiose feel like cut content from the base game and the new megas are cool but ultimately Just Sit There in hyperspace. the only rogue mega that has any effect on people in lumiose is darkrai and we only see it in a few cutscenes!
it is kinda crazy they introduced cut and slash in gen 1 with one of them being so much worse only to be infinitely usable. they needed to rework HMs to be good moves and waterfall was a step in the right direction

the PEGI age rating still being 3, the ROMs should be completely unmodified with no events activated (birth island, navel rock). If they changed any content from the originals the rating would be 18+ because of the game corner
$20 for one is not a deal, no matter the cost of physical FRLG (2/2)
RBGY/GSC were 1/4th of the $40 games on the 3DS.
Had they been 1/4th of the switch games ($15) I likely would get both, but now I'm just waiting for any HOME updates for a new origin mark or the FRLG dex being in HOME, which would indicate a shiny distribution in the future. (1/2)
