This shoot was very much the latter. I wanted to explore something more abstract, something less controlled. A style that leaned into motion, colour, and imperfection — using long exposure techniques and light to create something a little more unpredictable. The idea itself was simple in theory. Use long exposures to introduce movement, bring in coloured light to shape the frame, and then use flash at the very end to freeze the subject.
