Scrolling on BSky is always an adventure. I clicked ‘Show’ on content posted from a ‘Spooky Boner’ and y’know, wasn’t quite sure what I expected.

(mostly) 32x32px fan sprites of the classic Doom monsters. The Cyberdemon is 40x40px; the Spider Mastermind is 64x40px.

A few last minute edits, and my little 32x32px Doom sprite collection is complete. ✌️

It's pretty cool seeing them up close, the craftsmanship and care put into the designs is pretty incredible, and some of them have all kinds of custom electronics and lighting associated with them too, wild to see in motion.

I was exposed to new communities that I was able to collaborate and make cool stuff with! I think that's the biggest plus, but in addition to that, making assets for social media really got me playing around with a/v production and using it to contribute to existing places I enjoy.
