CBE JU-funded MIXMATTER's first pilot: a mobile separation unit for agri-food waste. The unit combines robotics and AI vision to sort organic waste streams, even when contaminated with plastics, cardboard or glass. An important step toward scalable, circular solutions for organic waste management!

👩‍🌾 Farmers, foresters and blue #bioeconomy actors are the backbone of Europe's bio-based future, but are they getting the support they need? CBE JU-funded #Rootlinks project is working to better integrate primary producers into Europe's circular bio-based economy.

👏 The CBE JU-funded #PEFerence project recently concluded, marking an important milestone for Europe’s #biobased #plastics sector. The project delivered the world’s first commercial-scale FDCA flagship plant and validated a fully integrated value chain for 100% bio-based polyesters like PEF.

CBE JU-funded #LANDFEED develops bio-based fertilisers by extracting nutrients from food waste, supporting more circular approaches across the #bioeconomy. The project also explores solutions to improve nutrient release and reduce environmental impacts.
