On one hand, agentic AI may prove to be a leveling force across scholars with different levels of access to research funds. This applies both to researchers at differently endowed universities or research institutes (both within countries and across countries) and researchers at different stages of career development: even undergraduates will be able to harness their own agentic AI research assistants.
