She shouted that he was lying, then he called her out by name & got into it with her. He thought he was going to create a gotcha, but

Almost 20 minutes in and no one has had a chance to ask a question at Mike Lawler’s town hall. He is filibustering instead.
I got shuttled to the “special” line which I assume means my question won’t get called.

That’s actual electability. The discourse is another thing entirely and exists in places like Bluesky and Twitter between media, political elites, and pundits who may or may not know the community voting.

The discourse over electability is absolutely rooted in racism.

Sadly, ICE learned what not to do in Minnesota… they have not left… but are spreading out in disguise tricking and nabbing people before we can respond. We need a new plan….

Abolish ICE.

There’s no reforming it.

There’s no compromise.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.

I’m not sure why people keep making these weird claims. Lawler always has very few supporters at these town halls. The vast majority of the audience was shouting to let him stay or “shame” at Lawler. I don’t know what purpose it serves. Stop lying about my neighbors.

That’s why I described the rule as illegal. That said, it didn’t stop Lawler’s staff from sending state police to carry me out of his Somers town hall for taking video when they removed my friend Emily. And I couldn’t find an attorney to challenge it. The rule remains illegal and remains in place.

He overestimates his ability as a spin master.

If that’s true, it was minimal. I was sitting with Emily and took the video of her being removed and was there tonight just in front of the young veteran who was tossed. The vast majority of the people in the room were with her then and with him today. Please don’t mischaracterize my community.

Same one Emily asked in May: what’s his red line for finally not supporting Trump? Still no answer. We all know that he can’t answer because the line doesn’t exist.

Nobody booed Emily when she was thrown out last year. The only heat from the audience was on Lawler then and now.

To paraphrase, the question was what is your red line at which point you’ll stop supporting Donald Trump? He refuses to define one because it doesn’t exist.

They were Republicans. Lawler has an illegal rule at these town halls that prohibits recording. That’s why I got tossed for recording Emily Feiner’s removal last May.

Mike Lawler put out a 6 year Navy veteran from his town hall at Rockland Community College for insisting he answer the same question Emily Feiner had for him in May. Still no answer and he’s clearly scared to tell us where his red line is - probably because it doesn’t exist.
