The process of clearing a parental home & setting up to sell it is . . . a lot. Culled through boxes, shelves, & cabinets for weeks, had a successful estate sale, but there are still items to dispose of plus deep cleaning, painting, & re-carpeting before putting it on the market. I am TIRED, y'all.

I suspect the Pope sounds "woke" to many Christian conservatives because the US is steeped in prosperity theology, where the point of worship is to deliver health and wealth to believers. Thus, "feed the hungry" and "show mercy for the poor" sounds needlessly political and "woke."

Good explanation from @brookings.edu on the problems with the U.S. trying to forcibly reopen the Strait of Hormuz against Iran’s will. TL;DR Iran has asymmetric advantages to cheaply strike vessels passing through, and markets won’t be reassured until that threat is gone.
