Only thing more predictable than Onana's errors v Lyon was bayindir error today #mufc

Left arsenal to play for Amorim.

I don't actually agree with this - arsenal and city would love bruno rn and he'd def be an important player for Liverpool ๐Ÿคข- but this backs up my point. Keane was criticising lack of effort. If you think bruno's not would class, fine.

Keane suggesting Bruno can do more for Utd. Could he be replaced by a better player? Maybe. Does he infuriate fans with his wastefulness? 100%. But the idea he's underperforming - despite being our only consistant player and one of the best attacking midfielders in the PL - is insanity #mufc

I'm not sure we know he wants to leave. Amad has been quality but garnacho is an out and out winger - he's not got the same attributes amad has to play inside. I'm not saying he can't learn it but it's not natural to him. Amad had played as a 10 before Amorim came in

What I find most frustrating is this was inevitable from the minute Amorim came in. Deleting the position of arguably your most promising young player is madness and reflects terribly on INEOS's football decisions so far

Story is, essentially, 'every player has a price'. This is obviously true and entirely inconsequential in relation to the January transfer window, which is why it's been written #mufc

That was so much better. Coherent performance overall + outstanding displays from Bruno, Mainoo, Ugarte, Dalot and Maguire. Extra satisfying to see us come back after disappointment of losing the lead. We've not shown that kind of resilience for quite some time #mufc

It's not a bad ball cos the height is good but the keeper isn't cutting that out if it's on the floor!

We had one of the world's most promising teenage wingers ffs!

During a particularly miserable period from Feb 23 to now - excluding FA cup glory - Garnacho's development has been one of the few joyful aspects of watching utd. That Amorim can't get him into the team is utterly depressing and was entirely predictable from the moment we hired him #mufc

Agree with this re ETH but feel like Amorim's problem isn't perservering with a 'philosophy', rather implementing a system that doesn't suit the players. Surely you can play fluid, possession-based (as opposed to ETH + Ole's counter attacking/transitional) football in other formations than 3-4-3?

What i will say though is i loved every single fucking goal and it meant more than if it was scored by anyone else. Fuck every single person who booed or sent abuse.

His record against our rivals was outstanding (although dropped off recently) but ultimately I don't think he had the ability to develop into the talisman we desired to lead us out of mediocrity

I'll be heartbroken when Rashford leaves but i can see its best for him - and the team - with Amorim essentially deleting his best position. The problems begun before of course but he made me proud when there was very little about the club to be anything other than ashamed of #mufc

I agree with Neville on Rashford, including desperately wanting him to find form again, but i don't think garnacho has been 'sulking'. Since Amorim he's looked (understandably) lost in a new position but the effort has been there imo #mufc

Bethell drops out and Pope goes back to three. Only way i can see Crawley not playing in the ashes is if Bethell or Pope are picked to open - and i don't think that's likely

Think that's a little unfair considering he's made big scores against Pakistan and West Indies but we are looking for a settled side going into next winter and i can't see him getting dropped before then

I get he's under pressure but people forget he was eng's top scorer in the home ashes and the only batsman, other than Bairstow, who stood up to the Aussie bowlers in 21/22 #NZvENG

Just out of interest, are the same people singing 'feed the scousers' at OT on Sunday also protesting over the disgraceful decision to raise ticket prices during a cost-of-living crisis? How do you square that one, lads? ๐Ÿ™ƒ #mufc
