The deputy leader of Reform UK, Richard Tice, owns a property company - Quidnet REIT.

From 2020 to 2022 it paid Tice and his trust £600k in dividends. Quidnet should have paid £120k of tax on those dividends. It didn't.

A 🧵 with evidence from the company's own filings:

A large excavator moves bags of sand into position to dam a shallow river to allow for dry construction conditions. Two students in yellow hi vis and red hard hats, along with a supervisor in orange hi vis direct proceedings.

A hive of activity as many students in yellow hi vis and red hard hats are busy building timber formwork for subsequent casting of precast concrete

Its @constructionarium.bsky.social time again! Every year we come with our third year students to build cut down versions of classic structures. This year: Canary Wharf and North Greenwich stations, Millau Viaduct & Kingsgate bridge. Great progress on all projects today, and no rain!

Do we think that this is some (perhaps large) part the being called middle anything just sounds so extremely boring? Who wants to self declare as the mediocre middle.

Grow up Ed. This is the lowest level click bait and puts people off voting for you. There are so much more important issues than this nonsense. Try and keep focused please.

I’m clearly in the minority, but I think he’s an ok prime minister. There are so many ways we could have a worse PM. Same with government in general really.

This IPSO adjudication against the Telegraph is quite something

Confirms their story titled: ‘We earn £345k, but soaring private school fees mean we can’t go on five holidays’ was completely fabricated, with the family involved non-existent and stock pictures used

Let me guess, wealthy people who moved to Dubai to avoid paying taxes now want the countries they moved from to protect them?

And just on the maths, if the biggest party last time have projected vote share down by 18%, and you who had a smaller share last time only predicted to go up by 9%, that means a lot votes going to someone who’s not you! If you are going to make an argument it needs to be better than this!!

My pledge to not vote for any party that uses shit graphs is starting to look a bit limiting.

Green’s just missing off Lib Dem’s is a particularly odd decision. Gives impression they think we’re not very bright!

It does come across as saying-someone not very well to do, came and walked down a street in my very well to do area. And how dare they!. I’m not sure Nadhim is quite the man of the people anymore.
