I am not so sure they are bots but, rather, US-centric people who have absolutely no idea why some of us stay on Twitter. (Short answer: because Bluesky is too US-centric. Also, it is really hard to build up and maintain a sense of community for Hongkongers now. So I DON'T want to abandon one.)

And of course I can do the Bluesky thing and just Block those accounts. But, really, this I am TIRED. And this is really not happening me feel better about Bluesky.
Dear all,
Seemingly every time I have a quick look at Bluesky, I see replies from accounts I've hitherto never interacted with accusing me of being a Nazi because I am still on Twitter.
In all honesty, seeing them is not making me want to return to Bluesky.
I get the sense that it's because you're American and your view and experience of Twitter is very different from mine. But you know what? To hell with this, I'm doing the Bluesky thing and BLOCKING you. Because, frankly, seeing this kind of shit makes me want to give up on Bluesky entirely.
Yes I take offense at the term since I do use Twitter (as I make fully clear on my profile as well as have done so in numerous posts) since the implication of that term is that (all) people who still use it are Nazis.
Please stop calling it Xitter, especially if you haven't had (any/much) experience of it. And my sense is that the Twitter experience of non-Americans is very different from that of Americans. BTW, I see Musk's Tweets like once every few months.
I still use Twitter. And still see more informative posts there than here.
I also do enjoy Bluesky for the Arsenal, etc. talk and generally find it more social. But the "anyone who uses Twitter is a MAGA", etc. allegations often feel like they're intended to drive people like me away from here.
Seeing Liu Kai-chi for me too was... π₯Ή
Amazingly, there are just a handful of reviews of "Cageman" (Hong Kong, 1992) over at the Internet Movie Database. So here's doing my bit to help get the word out about this great film.
RIP, Mr. Koo.
Bluesky is STILL not working smoothly on my end!
Between this and seeing seemingly every other post of what I've been able to see of my (Mutuals) TL being about Trump, I'm going to take a Bluesky break for a bit.
Japanese media know how to write a headline and use quotation marks appropriately. Not complicated once one has a clear understanding of Taiwan.
The reaction to my post below shows that many people here are indeed still obsessed with Twitter.
That's fine. I just wish people on Bluesky would not talk so much about Twitter.
I use a PC-based browser too to access Bluesky.
Bluesky is having issues and some people are still obsessed with Twitter. π
I wish he didn't use the term "riots". π
I figured there were guards in the building. But I was amazed and awed by the sense of safety and trust in a society where ministry buildings (it was the same of, say, the Ministry of Justice too) seemed so open and accessible. This was back in 2015, BTW.
Agreed. BTW, to be clear: those who expected are the ones now upset at -- angry, even, with -- Arsenal for the quadruple dream no longer being pursue-able this season. Those who hoped move on and see that this still could be a great season for the Gunners.
I didn't notice any guards!!
Drink (more) water/non-alcoholic drinks until you fully recover!!
Check out the lower right pic too. I still can't believe we could get that close to the Ministry of Defence building in the Hague!
Most mascots can't/don't talk. Funassyi being able to do so is one way that the Pear (Fairy) stands out. (Of course, there are many other ways in which Funassyi stands out! But its ability to speak -- and scream and sing, etc.! -- is really noticeable when it's with other mascots.)
I have to confess that I just fixated on the (yummy) roast goose rice I ordered and eating it when I went to Kitchen One Roast Goose. Poohsticks, OTOH... π

Iβm part of the world that doesnβt care about one American soldier missing in an illegal war (war which is his job), enough for top story over an entire news cycle. Like, thereβs actual civilians dying from war crimes, how many did he help kill (as per his job).
Did any Arsenal fans really expect to win a quadruple? If so, they can't be genuine Arsenal -- or, for that matter, football/EPL -- fans.
I was already an adult when I first watched "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea". As was everyone else in the Hong Kong cinema I viewed it in. π
BTW, meet Puppet Ponyo, my traveling companion for a number of years now!
Hong Kong should be Exhibit #2020 (if not numero uno) for "The Chinese government lies".
