I had the honor of writing two chapters in the book βDesign for All Learners: Create Inclusive and Accessible Learning Experiences" β one on learner personas and a second on virtual reality design.

This has been a labor of love, and Iβm incredibly excited to share that my article "Leveraging Learning Engineering to Advance Authentic Learning in Virtual Reality", has been published in the Journal of Applied Instructional Design! jaid.edtechbooks.org/jaid_13_4/au...

Reuniting with L&D and learning engineering colleagues and friends was a highlight of the #IITSEC conference. Thanks all for making my first I/ITSEC so memorable! www.linkedin.com/posts/kristi...
aWrap) Thanks all for a great #learnchat Have a wonderful night! π
Good to know! I loved Tweetdeck as well! I'll try out deck.blue for the next #learnchat
For those who tried out deck.blue, how did you like using it for the first #learnchat??? π§
A7: Excited to see all my friends on the regular π€© #learnchat
HAHA I'll take it π I have a journal article being published this month, so it could lead to an interesting #lrnchat topic in the future.
Based on today's #learnchat, some themes I picked up from others' posts are AI and implications on learning, stakeholder management/buy-in, workforce shifts, measurement and evaluation, from theory to practice.
A6: I recall there being themes for some (maybe all?) #learnchat sessions and even some guest appearances and conversations revolving around the guest's work. I liked that!
A5: Provides a communal gathering place for sharing thoughts and ideas #lrnchat #learnchat
A4: How can we shift the mindset of stakeholders and get them to understand that presenting content doesn't mean learning is happening?
#lrnchat #learnchat
Agreed! How can it be leveraged to enhance quality, but just efficiency. π― #lrnchat
Absolutely! It's arguably the hardest and more time intensive part #lrnchat
It's a huge challenge many face. "We have a ton of data and don't know what to do with it" is a sentiment I hear often #lrnchat
A2) I've been thinking a lot about all of the data we can collect from learning platforms and what it could tell us about the quality of our learning solutions, and how we may be able to use it to optimize our offerings #lrnchat
I'm originally for Everett! Yay for Washingtonians! π #lrnchat
Ah that was probably it! Last week was a whirlwind π΅βπ«
Next time for sure!
I couldn't have said it better! Agree π― #lrnchat
A1) I love the consistent opportunity to connect with the #lrnchat community and learn about what other folks are doing and are interested in
Oh wait, I only see a message about the cool ELB space. π€
Oh man, I just opened your message now! I don't know how I missed it. Still getting used to this bluesky app! Thanks for the heads up #lrnchat
A0) Hi #lrnchat! I'm Kristin from CA π». I design immersive learning solutions and recently transitioned into product management. This week as part of my data science program, I learned how to do sentiment analysis using R.
HEY L&D PEOPLE!
