Yet again, I am begging y’all to credit the content you are sharing. Aside from it being the right thing to do, in this day and age, it really helps with media literacy and AI fakery. The CNN watermark is not enough, IMO. Took me abt 30s in Google to find Kenny Holston/NYT/Pool

Israel is responsible for two in three journalist killings across the globe in 2024 and 2025. The Israeli military has committed more targeted killings of journalists than any other government’s military since CPJ began documentation in 1992.

UPDATE: Thames Valley Police have advised that no charges will be brought against four men arrested after these images, among others, of Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto Windsor Castle on 16th September.

Excellent opinion piece in The Guardian by Jonathan Liew, which strips away the hyperbole to identify some of the politics behind football support in Israel.

Imagine being a Prime Minister who went out of his way to have reversed an operational decision based on considered expert safety advice so that the uber-racist Maccabi Tel Aviv hooligans can come to the UK to cause havoc. Keir Starmer has lost the plot.

Sir Keir Starmer has many questions to answer over Gaza, but I never imagined he'd back the virulently racist away support of Maccabi Tel Aviv. I wonder which of their songs he's going to sing? Their anthem, the 'Rape Song'? 'Death to the Arabs'? Or the one about there being no kids left in Gaza?
London, 13/10/2025. Pro-Palestinian campaigners, including family members, protest outside Woolwich Crown Court in solidarity with the Filton 24 on the occasion of a bail application hearing. Slideshow at: www.markkerrison.com/portfolio/G0...
London, 11/10/2025. Hundreds of thousands of pro-Palestinian campaigners take part in the 32nd National March for Palestine since October 2023. A handful of pro-Israel counter-protesters are arrested while trying to block the march. Slideshow at: www.markkerrison.com/portfolio/G0...
“The Conservative Party should properly communicate and clarify the specific reasons for not granting these journalists access to its conference. Once again, the NUJ calls on all political parties to uphold media freedom and democratic accountability.”

These accounts sound very plausible to me. I was also denied water & access to medication when detained in Israel & soon found the bites to corroborate rampant bed bugs in the cell. All pales in comparison, though, to the ritual violence, humiliation & abuse endured by Palestinians in Israeli jails.
Well, this is odd. An image of an XL Bully accompanied by my byline. Only the image wasn't taken by me and nor would I know where to begin in identifying an XL Bully for captioning purposes.

I love synchronicities. Listening to Frank Zappa's (instrumental) Watermelon In Easter Hay, I've just been offered a slice of watermelon. Watermelons always conjure up memories for me: of rows of watermelon stalls on roads out of town in Lazio & Campania in Italy in the '80s, of my late... 1/2
I last saw Neil Young perform live in 1979, on the Rust Never Sleeps tour. He'd already had 16 years on the road. Almost half a century after Rust Never Sleeps he still looks and sounds in remarkably fine fettle and the sound he gets out of Old Black is still instantly recognisable and quite unique.
That said, The 1975 can do one with their 'we're apolitical now' (nothing can be more political and entitled than using your headline slot on the Pyramid Stage to say you've turned apolitical during a genocide).
Glastonbury. I've become such an old softy. Shedding tears when Lewis Capaldi's eyes brim as what seemed a very large chunk of a 200,000 crowd sang along to Someone You Loved and not being far off again when CMAT introduced Take A Sexy Picture Of Me with a moving account of how she came to write it.

This UK Defence Journal article, in rebutting suggestions that the Madleen was subject to RAF surveillance, raises so many more questions re the UK’s active role in Gaza where war crimes, crimes against humanity and a likely genocide have been committed.

Tonight my thoughts are with the twelve brave souls on board the Madleen. Aid workers, journalists, campaigners & a MEP. All non-violent, all on the Madleen only because our governments have failed to act to prevent a genocide & are now failing to provide aid to a population being starved in Gaza.

New armoured trucks trialled by the Met Police are Israeli Plasan SandCats, widely used by Israel in Occupied Palestine. Plasan supplied c. 700 before Israel invaded Gaza in 10/23, where it has since committed war crimes, crimes against humanity & acts of genocide. So many ethical questions arise.
You seem to have forgotten your sponsored trip to Israel where you were welcomed by at least one individual statements made by whom were cited as evidence of genocidal intent in a genocide case against Israel before the International Court of Justice.
