They aren’t deluded. They are spinning to try to keep donations coming.

The Victoria policy only started April 1. Kind of early to evaluate it.
Ah, Henry George. Some way to tax vacant/underused properties at a higher level would help for sure. The idea seems to be catching on here in California. www.latimes.com/california/s...
Yes, specifically vehicle-miles traveled reduction — providing access to stuff with less need to drive. I don’t know LVT.
I have been described as a “VMT enthusiast.” Also not wrong
Thought the same this morning.
Adding that our dealer has done tire rotations gratis.
We got our Bolt in 2017. It had a couple warranty-covered issues, one a small cosmetic thing and one to replace the traction battery (which extended the warranty on the latter). Otherwise we’ve only replaced the cabin air filter, wipers, coolant, and a tire in 8.5 years.

Same. Our solar covers our household use (no gas) and our EV charging. We only pay $25/month to be connected to the grid, since we don’t have battery storage yet.
Embarrassing. Apologies.
Post story says 6 a.m., not p.m.
What's been weird to learn is that other leaders of institutions act the same way. Some of them hoard and protect their influence like it's money because they, too, are rich. You don't get rich by giving your money away and (they seem to believe) you don't get powerful by exercising your power. But, in fact, that is often how power works: using power can help build power. At the very least, power holds no value unless it is exercised, which alone is a valid reason to exercise it. If you are powerful but never use your power, you are not powerful. I'm talking here primarily about the huge, obvious loci of power — the centers of power that exist in part to serve as checks on other centers of power. Congress vis-a-vis the presidency. The media relative to the government. Higher education in contrast to misinformation. But they often aren't serving as checks on what's unfolding, or are obviously and bizarrely using their power only sparingly, garden hoses aimed at protecting their own homes from the wildfire. So it's left to individuals, who have stepped up where institutions have not.
I wrote about Minnesota and ICE and how average Americans are reclaiming the power that the administration is abusing.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Beautiful!
Ski mittens and goggles ftw. Also studded tires. My bike commute record is -25C, during a polar vortex in Wisconsin. With the right gear, not a problem. I’d take -25 over a rainy day any time.
Here’s the email for the DSCC: mailto:info@dscc.org. Message is simple: As long as Schumer is leader, DSCC’s requests for support are denied.
Fake
Crappy artificial fade for one thing. Cheesy length and hem for another.
I bought Lockjaw, and he came to live with us (with his sister).
Most Dem primary voters aren’t tracking Newsom’s tweets, and the 2026 election will be old news in 2028.
Thank you for your contribution to stop Trump from rigging the 2026 election act.gavinnewsom.com/signup/ab-ty...
And some pay less. We have an EV and solar, so fuel is free. (If we had to pay the utility it would run us about $200/year.) And the only maintenance we’ve had since replacing a tire two years ago is the occasional car wash.
Beshear is governor of Kentucky.
Your scene was great though. youtu.be/xB53yN204gk?...
Much quieter than last year in Sacramento. Possibly due in part to new laws with bigger fines for illegal fireworks, in addition to the BBB.
Unsurprisingly the 12 percent figure is very misleading.
