Yes, like a filter is missing. I also cannot tune out intermittent noise. Like fan/white or brown even some green noise is OK, but if there's something beeping, it drives me crazy. My husband doesn't even hear it. If I point it out, he will, but then can go back to not hearing it. I wish...

Yes - I can fall asleep to a few audiobooks (Robin Wall Kimmerer has the most soothing voice...) but for most it's a nope and never with TV/movies. I've wondered if it's an ADHD thing.

Does it usually take 4 hrs to seat the alternates? This was my first time and I don't know if stuff would have moved faster had ppl been seated faster, but that seemed reeeaaallly long.
