I’m certainly sympathetic to this view, it definitely didn’t help matters.

But I also recoil somewhat at any explanation that isn’t the simple and bald truth: The greatest threat the world faces right now is Donald Trump.

Electing him, entirely regardless of every other externality, was ballgame.

I tend to agree that people with Nazi tattoos who gleefully commit war crimes are more right wing than people who are not those things.
