a game show wheel with web development categories. There is a "dev lore" category sponsored by Neon, a "Web Security" category sponsored by Clerk, a "CSS" category sponsored by CodePen, and two unsponsored categories: "Team Dynamics" and "Animation". the center of the wheel has the "Leet Heat" logo. there are flame cutouts around the wheel

still can't believe we had the chance to make a whole season of a game show. extremely grateful to @neon.tech, @clerk.com, and @codepen.io for sponsoring categories on the wheel

and if you haven't seen Leet Heat yet, the most recent episode is available to everyone now! codetv.link/lh/s1e3

If I was untethered, I'd choose the new adventure. LA is a unique city with incredible things to see, eat, and experience. You can always move back.

Pro-tip: live in the area you want to frequent and don't assume you can get somewhere just because it's also in LA. LA is huge and traffic sucks.

Well that’s incredible. What an experience.

I had a Flic button that I kept on my nightstand that ran a "go to bed" macro that shut off all lights in the house, closed all the blinds, closed the garage doors, and locked the front doors. That's as much as I've ever done.

I give the Turso team a bit of slack here – this is a technical post and rewriting SQLite in Rust is indeed an interesting thing to look at. Now if turso.tech had the headline "SQLite in Blazing Fast Rust" on the home page I'd mercilessly message @glaubercosta.bsky.social until he changed it.

Anyone using Homey for home automation stuff? I'm getting ready to set up my new house and I'm just curious if I should try Homey or just stick to Home Assistant.

More than anything I need good UX to convince my wife to use it. She doesn't like how confusing Home Assistant can be.

Do they not give Outlaws big blocks of seats in the Ultras sections? That's a huge miss if not.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

Incredibly frustrating. Then you end with Miami Heat types of crowds: rich people who show up late, chill out, and then leave early. (no disrespect to Heat fans but their crowds are boring)

You need cheap seats to get passionate fans, full stop.

Wrapping up the day with something special: last month, I won an award at City Hall for my work with veterans. It means a lot because I was told people here (ATL) care more about winning than how they win. This award proves you can succeed ethically, with integrity, and without cutting corners.

"It's written in Rust" is not a feature of your app. "It's blazing fast" is a hollow claim that makes me doubt it.

Please stop putting these things on your homepage. Please show me why your tool/app/whatever makes my work easier/cheaper/faster-to-iterate.
