Had to file because last year we had ACA and it’s required. So we are both on Medicare. She got backpay from SS and we ended up paying back some of the ACA subsidies because we made more money than we estimated. However my friend who has extensive retirement funds got her highest refund.

So happy to hear he’s doing well.
