Let us not forget D-Day. Thousands of young men fought, died, and changed the world. But what if it had failed? Eisenhower thought it could. The night before he scribbled in pencil the speech he never would have to deliver... "If any blame or fault attaches to the attempt it is mine alone."

With the loss of Pope Francis, I can’t help but reflect upon the long ago loss of our old friend Steve Frazier. Upon one of his last trips to the Vatican, he gifted me with a Francis bobble head, and our Dawn Stevens with a Pisa statue. We still have them. We all still miss you, Steve.
