Thanks to Luna Station Quarterly for publishing my short story 'Roil' in their latest issue!
It's a piece of dark fantasy post-apocalyptic climate fiction that asks how, even if our modern world ends, we might still manage to haunt those who survive after.

I'm also very excited to say that I was asked to write an adventure in Necrotic Gnome’s upcoming Old-School Essentials: Adventure Anthology 3!
My temple dungeon, ‘The Grotesques’ Grotto’, is inspired by ancient Greek myths of Pan and Dionysus, and I can’t wait for you all to see it.
This month in Mythoi, my newsletter about #folklore and #TTRPG, we're talking about devil monkeys!
What will your character do when they run into one of these in the woods at night?

Very excited for this! I might even be lucky enough to be helping out with some contributions of my own ;)
Wow, that's a lot of new followers! Thanks to everyone who added me to their starter packs.

I made a "starter pack" of OSR folks to follow. I couldn't fit everyone on it (sorry for those I didn't get to, it's not personal!):

The cover of The Hobbit audiobook, narrated by Andy Serkis
I listened to all of The Lord of the Rings this past year, and finally finished my journey by going back and listening to The Hobbit as well. It really does feel singular what Tolkien managed to create.
I last read The Hobbit with my dad as a kid too, so it was a really nostalgic conclusion.
This month in Mythoi, my newsletter about folklore and TTRPGs, we're talking about night mares!
Perhaps one of your player characters can have their own sleep paralysis demon, as a treat?

Excited to say that my spooky short story "Make a Wish" will be featured in the upcoming debut issue of SPOOKY Magazine!
If you're into stories where groups of kids make the mistake of investigating storm drain networks, stay tuned...
This month in Mythoi, my newsletter about folklore and TTRPGs, we're talking about the church grim!
Everyone knows most spectral black dogs are bad news, so why don't we instead honour one of the good ones?

One last Mythoi, my newsletter about folklore and ttrpgs, of the year. This time, we're looking back at 2023!

This month in Mythoi, my newsletter about folklore and TTRPGs, I wrote about a merrily spooky Welsh custom!
This Christmas, you hear a knock at the door. It's a giant creature with a skeletal horse head, ready for a rhyming battle. Hope you've been practicing!

Excited to announce that I just had 'Summer Burning', my new piece of horror flash fiction, published by Nightmare Fuel magazine.
Feels appropriate it lined up with a 35°C (95°F) day here in South Australia! If you're interested, you can give it a read for free via the link below.
This month in Mythoi, my newsletter about folklore and TTRPGs, I wrote about carving pumpkins!
If you've ever wondered where the original jack-o'-lantern-headed spirit came from, gather round for a spooky Halloween tale of a man barred from Heaven AND Hell!

If my Night's Black Agents campaign goes well, I should really begin working earnestly on the Cyperpunk-meets-Greek-Mythology Gumshoe RPG I started planning years ago...
Having wrapped up my run of 'The Black Wyrm of Brandonsford' using OSE, I'm planning to start my first proper Gumshoe campaign with Night's Black Agents in November! I've wanted to run NBA really badly since I picked it up years ago, so very excited to finally have the chance.

Got to spend the first weekend of October at PAX Aus this year! Heaps of fun, plus I got to pick up a bunch of role-playing books. A bit of an eclectic mix, but really happy with my haul—finally have a physical copy of Hard Wired Island!
My first dark flash fiction piece 'Wait' was published with Nightmare Fuel magazine earlier this year. If you're interested, you can read it for free at the link below!

Excited to say I have another piece of flash fiction selected for online publication later this year. Will say more closer to its release but the "send out a story > reject > resend" loop is a real weight, so really happy to take the win (and then get back on to writing!).
Really happy to finally finish writing my Mythoi article about hafgufa and island whales.
I read the original article about researchers discovering a Norse legend was inspired by real life because it was co-written by a uni lecturer of mine, and felt too interesting not to share!
This month in Mythoi, my newsletter about folklore and TTRPGs, I wrote about really big sea monsters!
Sea creatures the size of islands exist all throughout human mythology. But what if I told you there's some truth behind at least one of these legends?

I've been splitting my attention between uni, role-playing writing, and short story writing this year, so I'm looking to find a better balance between the three. Don't want to go all year without putting out anything RPG related!
Looks like I'm trying social media again! Got very disillusioned with Twitter for obvious reasons and dropped off the Internet a bit, so hoping to use here for a bit of chatting about what I'm working on and cool stuff other people have made :)
