Labour in pole position to win 2028 race for London Mayor, new survey reveals EXCLUSIVE: Sir Sadiq Khan’s party is on 32%, the Conservatives 20%, Reform 19%, the Greens 13% and Liberal Democrats 11%

Ohh blimey Farage won’t like this.. he won’t like it at all 😂🤣

He’s always boasting Reform are smashing the poles, have 400 billion new members etc & Reform hate Sadiq Khan, especially Anderson who got kicked out of Tories for Islamaphobia toward Khan

Well Khan’s on for 32% votes Reform 19% 🥳🍾👌🏼

UPEND THE ESTABLISHMENT, by voting for a party composed entirely of rejects from the oldest party in the country that was in power for 14 years. 😂

Reform UK increasingly look like the Tories just ran off stage, then ran back on wearing a comedy glasses-nose-moustache disguise.

Is this morning’s steep fall in Crypto markets a “buy the dip” moment or do they know something about FOMC meet on Wednesday?

Getting lost in statistics about numbers and semantics about ideology misses real issue: This is no "grassroots" movement. It is externally funded and organised. Its network ALL have X blue ticks and Musk beamed in to incite violence. Stop the dark money and astroturfing. The rest will soon wither.

Blighty newsletter: Can businesses trust Nigel Farage? Matthew Holehouse, our Britain political correspondent, gives his take on Reform UK’s annual conference

⚠️ "The party in Birmingham resembled a great hot-air balloon, whose inflated polling holds up a light staffing operation and vague policy agenda. At the heart of the party is an ideological tension"

I’ve just seen a video of a white male at the demonstration today , calling for Keir Starmer to be assassinated. He then says, he needs to be shot.

I hope this man is arrested.

Dark dark times ahead. These thugs think they have taken over our streets.

Photos of Yaxley Lennon/Robinson and Musk talking on video link and a bloodied protester.

…murdered in cold blood this week and people on the left celebrating it openly.
"The left is the party of murder and celebrating murder. I mean, let that sink in for a minute, that's who we're dealing with here."
He said that the British public were
"scared to exercise their [right to] free speech" and claimed the BBC was "com-plicit in the destruction of Britain".
When they finished their conversa-tion, Robinson said: "Not only are we in the fight right now, but we're on advance thanks to free speech being fought for, for us, by Elon Musk."
By about 4pm riot police, backed by mounted patrols and dog units, were struggling to protect a group of masked antifascists hemmed in at the top of Whitehall. Missiles and flares were thrown by Robinson supporters, with some hitting officers.
Many chanted
abuse at the police, mocked officers and spat at them.
The Met said on X: "Officers are having to intervene in multiple locations to stop Unite the Kingdom protesters trying to access sterile areas, breach police cordons or get to opposing groups. A number of officers have been assaulted."
It later added: "The turnout for the Unite the Kingdom protest was too big to fit into Whitehall. Protesters left the route on to Victoria Embankment and sought to access Whitehall from multiple directions ... When officers moved in to stop them, they faced unacceptable violence.
They were assaulted with kicks and punches. Bottles, flares and other projectiles were thrown."
More than
1,600
officers
were
deployed to deal with the demonstrations as well as several football fixtures in the capital. At least 500 police had been drafted in from forces outside London, including the Merseyside, Humberside

Musk, Tommy Robinson - fascist Britain. A hellpit of violence and racism. They’re using our flag as their rallying cry. And X as their megaphone.
No more appeasement.
No more ‘legitimate concerns’ horseshit.
It’s beyond time to sanction Musk, regulate X and shut these fuckers down.

This is what happens when you let a few people gain so much money that they effectively have as much power as - or even more than - government.

Functioning democracies tax wealth to keep this from happening.

America used to tax very high incomes and inheritances TO KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING.

But sometimes it's known as dumbfuckery.

Re massive fine for Water Companies. Is it certain they will actually end up paying or will they somehow wriggle out of it?

Farage cooking political books. A pinch of selective Labour social policies, a mix of Tory unfunded tax cuts all whitewashed down with a swig of racism after every ingredient is added. Populism at it's worst. Reform are the new Blackshirts. Farage is a new Oswald Mosley. #BBCnews

If motorists are determined to continue polluting cites instead of accessing public transport they should pay for the privilege. Keep LTN’s in cities.

Excellent move if true to increase congestion charge to £18. Fully in favour especially now more trains coming into city are nationalised. Support good public transport

The unbelievable condescension we’re already seeing today towards working class people- suggesting they don’t travel to Europe or their kids might not want to go to university and study in Europe- is quite something to behold.
