For Godot (which is what I would recommend for learning game development) I liked the tutorials from Bramwell (youtube.com/@bramwellwil...) and ClearCode (youtube.com/@clearcode).
Looks like ClearCode has some newer and quite extensive 3D game tutorials.
The site couldn't find the original European release of The Settlers, so I had to pick the remake (though I've not played it). Three of these I played on an Amiga 600, but the site doesn't seem to have that as a platform, so they are here the PC versions. #my9games
Yeah, it is a big difference from ONI and changes the feel of the game a lot. I like it personally, but I understand how it can be a turn off.
Hope you find another game to really get into.

Have you tried Ratopia? It's a bit different from ONI in that you control one rat directly, but in some ways it's similar and less complicated.

Charlie, formerly the hungriest boy, pretty much stopped eating a couple of weeks ago. The vets are running lots of tests. He’s insured but I’m broke so any help towards the £200 excess would go a long way (especially if the costs go beyond the £1000 insurance limit)
