Hello Kitty Island Adventure is the coziest of cozy games.
It's got Zelda-esque puzzle dungeons with no fighting, in addition to fishing, cooking and collecting. Also lots of mini-games around the island. Whole point is to make friends. Wifey insisted I play this instead of doom-scrolling.

There definitely aren't any "good guys" but astra militarum is the human horde that is most sympathetic. Just normal folks caught up in never ending war

I started off with a killteam box, got 2 playable KT's, still working on a bigger 40k army. Kill team is a good way to explore different factions without committing too much money.
