I can't be there for the premiere of 'Writing Weirdness', unfortunately. But hoping to watch the recording afterwards.

Yes, so so wrong in all kinds of ways. Don't say 'Legos' near me. I'll frown and tut in the background and be repeating all day to myself, "It's Lego. It's always been Lego. Stop it!' - until I've totally annoyed myself.

I've already given my Lego free run of the house. I'm almost out of space now, but I daren't bury any in the garden even if it would aid with storage. I'm too worried about the poor bricks getting cold.

I was proud to be able to adopt a couple of Snorp at the weekend, at Notts Trans Pride. I think they're settling in well, and they make me smile.

They are adorable small #ClayCreatures with large personalities. Please look out for them.

Very powerful. You are a fantastic writer, Elsa, and we need your words and we need your satire. We need all of you. Thank you for sharing.

I hope the powers that be are listening.

Great - thank you. I really appreciate the response and for pointing me to more LGBTQ+ content in the #AgeingWithPride series. Such important work you're doing.

Good to read about Lizzie.

Who's Lynn? Can I read Lynn's story too? 😃

For Women Scotland: a legal critique | Good Law Project April’s Supreme Court decision is being treated as the final word. But the judgment has introduced considerable uncertainty to the law, and some parts appear to set back the rights of trans people by ...

Trans people are who they say they are.

If we allow people, even allies, to say that they are biologically not-that, then we are conceding a conceptual and rhetorical ground that we should not concede.

Wow! Just wow!

This is far too close for comfort.

This also covers days that aren't annual leave but are supposed to be non-working days for those like me who are not quite full-time!

I've been gender non-conforming all my life. I'm tired of people harassing & questioning me when I use public toilet spaces.

I know best which bathroom to use!

Also: I now define my gender as a non-binary lesbian. Get used to it!

Solidarity with all trans people.

Trans rights are human rights.

Yet the government’s own assessment shows their cuts to health related benefits risk pushing 250,000 people into poverty, including 50,000 children 📢

This news day is going to shit, isn't it.

It feels like the most vulnerable people are being deliberately and cruelly targeted and denied the support and respect that keeps people alive.

Making hate and abuse the thing that’s protected tells us a lot about who we are. (Clue: really much more like those guys over the pond than we like to pretend!) As ever, the people who want to debate free speech just mean they want to use slurs.

Absolutely surreal that the university has been fined more than half a million for pro-inclusion policies that they *didn't even enforce*. Stock left because students *exercised their free speech* and it made her uncomfortable.

I'm going to resist this one. At almost 56 years of age, I'm starting to tell myself that I don't have to be the one who has to solve everything, although it's harder to let go of the worry that creates. The emotional baggage is packed in tight. Everything's a work in progress.
