I'm currently struggling with this same feeling in a bigger relationship and with my life. I almost added a period 1.5 years ago, but went with a ; instead. I have fleeting moments that I feel connected, but I spend most of my time trying to figure out how to "unbreak" me.

Does anyone else "pre-mourn" the death of a relationship? I stopped talking to my parents ~10 years ago, after about 3-4 we talked once a year, now it's maybe 2-3 times.. but it feels like an out of body experience as I already mourned the loss.
