Last year I added 40 games to my #Nintendo Switch collection. It is the middle of April and I’m already at 55 with 5 on the way & 2 preordered…..

I have a feeling I’m going to surpass last year’s acquisitions….

The timing of this sale is rather….interesting…since I’ve recently started a rewatch and had my eyes on this game….

The are a lot of reasons why PR worked as well as it did. 1 of the reasons why I feel, is the theme of the rangers & the suits. They were cool. I don’t know if it would have worked with a different theme or sets of suits. Also the timing of when it aired also helped it.

Well, I’ll be going to work here soon. So they are unlikely to come.

I think the easy answer to your earlier question are the episode arcs with the green ranger, but that’s pretty much a given.

The non arc episodes are so formulaic, that they don’t stand out as much.

Season 2 improves things.

I have a lot of thoughts. Too many for one post. You can definitely see why it caught on. The formula of the show is really repetitive, but at the time there was nothing like it. It was a perfect storm at the right time. I don’t think it would have worked before or after it did.

Update:

I’m about halfway through season 1 of #PowerRangers. The best thing about about S1 is definitely the 5 main rangers. Their identities, personalities, and chemistry works so well compared to some other team. The Super Sentai integration is weak here, but gets better in later seasons.

Needless to say…….the #PowerRangers and I go waaaaaaaay back 👵
