Sometimes, and I hate to admit it, you don't get a choice in the matter.

The *perfect* home can be limited by one factor, and 9/10 times it's the fact that it's in a HOA.

I rolled a little *too fast* and started listing it places and talking about it in an unprofessional way, so I decided to reel things back and try again.

I'm likely going to start another account for business related things, including the things I work on!

When I do, I'll be sure to repost here!

I want to start slow, understand what I'm getting myself into, and build up some capital.

Then, once I feel comfortable, I want to try consulting with other small businesses, and seeing how things go.

I have alot of experience with alot of different products, and I want to share my knowledge!

Yes - I did start a business, I'm thinking of it as a way to explore what *I* want to do. I enjoy my 9-5, but I thought it would be a great way to branch-out on my own accord and do more.

BUT, I'm not sure what direction I want to take it yet!

At the very least, a disclaimer would be nice, yes.

That was my experience, ConCat was crashing hard first 5 minutes and then I managed to squeeze in to the hotel website and everything good was gone. :'(

Seeing the same thing over and over every year, with the reg, hotel, etc. websites crashing during booking periods is just insane seeing them do nothing about it.

Honestly makes me not want to come back if they're just going to *let it happen* and continue to do this year to year.

Hot take, @anthrocon.org needs to implement a lottery system like every other con that's on the same level of scale.

Software issues, technical issues, overbooking, and hell even the overhead of traffic from users trying to book a room could be easily avoided if they setup a simple lottery system.

I'm a huge *fuck mega-corp* guy, so It covers alot of the bases for me entertainment wise.

I don't subscribe to any of the major players, i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

I also like a lot of nostalgic media, and the whole streaming-rights hot-potato game sucks.

*hosting/sharing* video media on Bluesky is kind of a pain.

They have time and size limits on videos and half of the stuff I try to upload just fails lol. I usually have to end up crunching it and trimming it.

I run my own PDS for shits and giggles, but you do have to stay ontop of it.
