Absolutely same here. Started a Jellyfin for me friends and family to stream from, RomM to archive my game collection digitally, AdGuard to block all ads on every device that connects to my home Wi-Fi, etc. I'm so upset I never did this sooner.

Those are just a few examples. Self-Hosting (Home Labbing) is a way for everyone to start taking ownership of the content and data they have. Everything is local to *you*, not a big company.

Running home labs. Like for example, I have my own Jellyfin server (self-hosted Netflix) that I can stream from on any device. I created log ins for my friends and family!

I also have an archive system on my server to archive my physical game collection digitally!
