my hot take is that a game can have “bad controls” and still work if the game was designed with those controls in mind

one issue i had with the mouse controls of Primehack is that it felt obvious that none of the original trilogy was designed with mouse and keyboard in mind

I just started it yesterday. In terms of nerdy audio crap I do appreciate that musical continuity was kept with the trilogy—the sound design is outstanding, the music is even better…
