For today, and just today, I'm going to try to pretend that the world is functioning as it should and that we're all happy and fine JUST SO THAT I CAN BE PRODUCTIVE AND GET SHIT DONE WITHOUT FEELING THE EVER-PRESENT NEED TO WALLOW IN SADNESS + STRESS.

I constantly ruminate about embarrassing moments, but I always stop myself at "I hate myself."
Because I don't. In fact I think I'm pretty cool sometimes. I have flaws, that doesn't make me a shitty person.
There are very shitty people in the world and I'm most definitely not one of them.

So anyway, I'm going to start telling myself "I'm a good enough reason"✨

I've been trying to convince myself take better care "for my mental health" but that sounds like an abstract idea that won't make me want to.
Then I thought "do it for yourself--you're a person, do it for you." And I defiantly thought "I'm not a good enough reason."
I instantly hated that thought 😬
